Current Storylines provides a broad view of the situations, conflicts, investigations, campaigns, personal stories, and other developing threads currently shaping StarForgeRP's shared continuity.
Use this page to understand what is happening now, discover which characters, organizations, and locations are connected to ongoing stories, or find situations that may provide a natural point of contact for your own character.
A storyline does not need to involve the entire galaxy to matter. Some may concern military operations or political conflicts; others may revolve around a missing person, a criminal dispute, an expedition, an organizational problem, a damaged relationship, or circumstances affecting only a handful of characters. What makes them current is that their outcome or consequences are still developing through roleplay.
Current Storylines is an overview rather than a separate type of roleplay. Each entry should lead to the more detailed Campaign, Mission, Event, Character, Organization, Location, or other archive records associated with it.
The entries below summarize stories that are currently active within StarForgeRP continuity. Each focuses on the present situation: what has happened, what remains unresolved, who or what is affected, and where the story may go next.
Participation varies between storylines. Some actively welcome additional characters, some have specific openings or connections, and others are currently being played by an established group. Where appropriate, use the related Roleplay Hooks or story page to find more information before becoming involved.
[Summarize the storyline's present situation in approximately two to four short paragraphs or roughly 100–200 words. Explain enough of the background for a new reader to understand what is happening, but emphasize the current circumstances rather than recounting the complete history.]
[Identify the most important unresolved problem, objective, conflict, discovery, decision, or consequence currently driving the story. Avoid describing a predetermined ending; the entry should communicate the situation the characters are responding to.]
Current Storylines is designed to show where a story stands now without requiring readers to reconstruct it from every scene, mission, or event that came before.
Follow the links within an entry when you need more detail. A larger Campaign or Story Arc can preserve the developing narrative as a whole. Missions and Events can record individual pieces of that story. Character dossiers can reflect personal involvement and consequences, while Organization and Galaxy pages can show how the same events affect groups and locations beyond the immediate participants.
When a development becomes important to understanding later continuity, it may also appear on the Timeline.
The goal is not to reproduce the same information everywhere. Each part of the archive should preserve the part of the story most useful there: the Roleplay section records what happened, while connected entries record what changed because of it.
You do not need to join a large campaign to become part of StarForgeRP's ongoing stories.
Start with a connection that makes sense for your character. They might know someone already involved, belong to an affected organization, work in the area where events are occurring, possess a useful skill, have a professional or personal interest in the situation, or simply have their own reason to care about what is happening.
For storylines specifically seeking additional participation, follow the related Roleplay Hooks. Hooks identify situations where another character can enter the story without assuming how that involvement must develop.
If none of the current storylines provides a natural fit, that is not a problem. New stories can begin from characters, relationships, locations, organizations, professions, personal problems, or smaller interactions without needing to connect immediately to an established campaign.
