Develop a character, document what other players need to understand, and preserve changes that continue to matter after a scene ends.
The Character Creation Guide helps you develop a new concept or adapt an existing character. Connect their background, present circumstances, capabilities, limitations, and relationships, with believable reasons to encounter other people and room to change through play.
The Character Dossier Guidelines explain what belongs in a continuing character record, how to distinguish player-facing information from in-character knowledge, and which developments deserve an update as the character’s life changes.
Use the Blank Character Dossier when you are ready to document a character. Its flexible structure can be adapted to preserve useful history, explain present circumstances, and make relationships and possible story connections easy to find.

Shared history gives stories context. Collaborative play leaves participants room to make choices, face uncertainty, and create consequences that become part of that history.
Use Continuity & Canon to understand how SWTOR lore, compatible Legends material, StarForgeRP-created history, and interpretation fit together. It also addresses conflicting sources and questions about how new material connects to established continuity.
The Roleplay Guidelines explain character agency, player communication, boundaries, conflict, knowledge, and lasting consequences. Consult them when planning interactions that materially affect another character or require agreement about shared events.
