Privacy Policy

StarForgeRP is a public archive for collaborative Star Wars: The Old Republic roleplay. This policy explains how the project handles information about players, contributors, and visitors, including information supplied for publication or administration.

StarForgeRP may receive information through contributions, correspondence, and administrative requests. Depending on what you provide, this can include:

• Your player handle, attribution name, or contact details.

• Roleplay availability and coordination preferences.

• Contributions and information identifying the relevant character, page, or shared story.

• Details supporting a correction, privacy request, rights concern, or technical report.

Provide only the information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, financial details, government identification numbers, home addresses, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Accepted contributions may appear in public dossiers, stories, directories, and related archive entries. Include a player’s handle, credit, contact method, or other personal details for publication only when that person understands and agrees to their public association with the material.

Permission to document a fictional character or shared event does not authorize disclosure of the player’s private information.

A fictional secret described on a public page remains visible to readers, even when characters do not know it. Do not include information that must remain private from other players.

Public material can appear in search results or be copied elsewhere. Removing it from StarForgeRP cannot ensure that external copies disappear.

StarForgeRP uses supplied information to manage contributions, attribution, communication, shared continuity, and administrative records, and to investigate rights, misuse, privacy, or security concerns.

Information intended for publication may be displayed publicly. Service providers may process information to operate the project. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet applicable legal obligations or protect rights and safety.

The website uses Google Sites, and the Contact page embeds Google Forms. Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device details, and interactions with its services.

Google services may use cookies or similar technologies. Browser, device, and Google settings provide privacy controls; restricting cookies can affect functionality. Information Google processes is not necessarily available to StarForgeRP.

External links and embedded services have their own information practices. Embedded content can communicate with its provider when loaded, before you submit information or follow a link.

Fictional continuity may remain in the archive long term. Administrative personal information should be retained only as reasonably needed for the purpose it serves, including legitimate recordkeeping, security, dispute resolution, and legal needs. Published player details may remain until updated or removal is requested.

Removal may leave residual copies in revision histories, provider systems, or necessary records.

You may request access, correction, removal, or anonymization of information about you, where reasonably possible. Verification may be necessary. Applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

For request guidance, see Contact. Identify the affected page or material, explain your concern and the change you want, and provide a suitable reply method if follow-up is needed. Avoid repeating sensitive information unnecessarily.

Use the same route to report another person’s unauthorized disclosure of information about you.

StarForgeRP is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly seek their personal information. Children under 13 should not supply personal information to the project.
