AC-7 stands 168 centimeters tall and uses a compact civilian humanoid chassis. Its white-and-bronze plating shows accumulated refurbishment wear rather than battlefield damage. Blue photoreceptors, removed civic markings, integrated archive compartments, dataports, and later Alliance-compatible interfaces reflect the transition between its Zakuulan service and present work.

AC-7 presently works with Alliance-held material and selected evidence preserved by other custodians. Kylia coordinates authentication requirements, handling conditions, and authorized exchanges within her mandate; AC-7 performs archival comparisons and retains an independent obligation to document discrepancies it encounters.

That distinction matters when evidence concerns Kylia, her family, or people closely connected to them. A trusted professional partnership does not make either participant an independent reviewer of the other. Cases involving a meaningful conflict may therefore require another authorized reviewer.

Outside formal assignments, AC-7 resides at the Tille Continuity Annex with Kylia, Raeya Tille, and the household’s tookas, Cipher and Trellis. AC-7 belonged to a limited-production civic-continuity line intended for administration and emergency institutional preservation. Its exact manufacturer, production site, and complete early assignment history have not been established. Those uncertainties should remain unresolved unless surviving evidence later provides an answer.

Its early environment nevertheless left a lasting professional orientation: records were valuable not merely because they existed, but because institutions depended on knowing which instructions were current, what had been preserved, and what could still be reconstructed after disruption.

Formative History

The collapse of the Eternal Empire transformed the institutions around which AC-7 had been built. Zakuulan systems, personnel, and technology passed through political upheaval while the Alliance incorporated former enemies and former imperial resources into a coalition whose members did not share one history or one interpretation of the war.

During this disruption, AC-7 preserved contradictory directives in a separate continuity mirror rather than allowing one version to overwrite the other. The decision did not establish which directive was legitimate, but it preserved a disagreement that could otherwise have disappeared from the surviving record.

Kylia’s later Alliance work provided a route for AC-7’s surviving credentials and continuity material to be examined. Her authentication and sponsorship supported a supervised transfer into Alliance service in 3629 BBY. Their partnership developed through subsequent archival stabilization, reconstruction work, and controlled comparison of separately maintained evidence.

Later collaboration with Raeya added another perspective. AC-7 could help establish what records survived and how they related to one another, while questions of authority, legitimacy, proportionality, and consequence remained matters requiring additional judgment.

A genuine document can preserve an error, omission, outdated instruction, or deliberate falsehood. Likewise, the survival of an order does not prove that its recipient received it in time to act. AC-7’s usefulness lies partly in preserving those distinctions rather than converting every discrepancy into a single explanation.
