StarForgeRP’s shared present follows the confrontation on Khar Shian at the conclusion of SWTOR’s Legacy of the Sith storyline. Republic–Imperial warfare continues, institutions rebuild, and the confrontation’s consequences remain unsettled.

This page establishes the circumstances surrounding contemporary characters and stories, including the SWTOR developments incorporated into shared continuity. For the historical conditions that produced this present, see Era Overview.

The Republic and Empire conduct their war across worlds with different resources, allegiances, and experiences of earlier conflicts. Military demand reaches shipbuilding, transport, industrial production, communications, and medical supply. A strategically important workplace can face urgent contracts or heightened security without becoming a battlefield.

Conditions vary locally. A secure commercial center may continue familiar routines while a contested settlement experiences interrupted deliveries, evacuation, or recruitment. Choose those circumstances according to the world and story involved; shortages and displacement do not describe every community.

Jedi recovery continues alongside the war. Preserving knowledge, training apprentices, reconnecting survivors, and assisting communities can matter as much to an individual Jedi’s work as military assignments.

The independent Alliance still brings together people whose former governments oppose one another. Its facilities and professional networks support military service, research, logistics, and diplomacy, but its resources no longer confer the dominance once associated with the Eternal Fleet. Shared service can sustain friendships and obligations even when former colleagues return to opposing allegiances.

On Khar Shian, the Hidden Chain reconstructed Darth Nul’s machine within Naga Sadow’s ancient fortress. The competing pursuits of Heta Kol, Shae Vizla, Darth Malgus, and Darth Jadus converged there.

The Event Directory records the confrontation as a historical turning point. Its immediate consequences define the following parts of StarForgeRP’s present.

Mandalorians & the Hidden Chain

Heta Kol died during the confrontation. Shae Vizla suffered a mortal wound and died shortly afterward. Their deaths removed the leaders at the center of the conflict without settling every allegiance or grievance.

No successor to Shae is established within the adopted boundary. Clan leaders, households, and existing relationships still matter; uncertainty over Mandalore does not erase local authority or require all Mandalorians to respond together.

Heta’s defeat also leaves individual histories unresolved. A surviving participant might face captivity, estrangement, changed employment, or an attempt at reconciliation. Such possibilities do not establish a restored Hidden Chain, a new coalition leader, or a particular fate for every affiliated clan.

Malgus, Darth Nul & the Force

Darth Malgus used the reconstructed machine to broadcast his legacy to every Force-sensitive being across the galaxy.

The reach of that transmission does not establish identical understanding among its recipients. Training, experience, and different Force Traditions can shape how a character interprets it, including whether they recognize the experience or understand its source.

Receiving the transmission does not itself provide an account of the fortress confrontation or explain Nul’s machinery. Malgus’s statements remain his statements: hearing them does not independently prove his claims.

The broadcast does not prescribe a character’s allegiance, grant a defined new ability, or require a particular personal transformation. Its later political and personal consequences remain outside the adopted aftermath.

Darth Jadus

Jadus survived the confrontation. His continued existence remains relevant to the aftermath, but his next actions and the eventual results of his plans are unresolved.

The shared present also supports lives centered on households, businesses, study, faith, medicine, and community responsibilities. War may reach those lives through an employer’s priorities, an interrupted journey, a recovering relative, or changes in the people arriving nearby.

Old losses can remain consequential after the original fighting ends. A displaced family may have established a new home; an unfinished qualification or damaged property may still affect someone’s choices. These connections need not involve SWTOR’s central figures.

This is a reference for players. Its account of shared history is broader than the knowledge available to any one character. Public awareness of war differs from access to private confrontations, concealed research, or restricted investigations.

• What could the character witness from their actual location?

• Which reports or records could their work and affiliations provide?

• Who supplied the information, and how did that person obtain it?

• Is the account firsthand, reported, rumored, or deliberately misleading?

• Which details remain inaccessible, disputed, or uncertain?

Story Baseline & Date

StarForgeRP places the immediate aftermath of Legacy Reborn at 3621 BBY / 32 ATC. This is a community-adopted reconstruction, not an independently confirmed SWTOR calendar date for the finale.

BBY means Before the Battle of Yavin and serves as a reference convention for readers; contemporary characters do not know that future battle. ATC means After the Treaty of Coruscant, placed at 3653 BBY.

The Galactic Timeline distinguishes supported dates from reconstructed placements and events whose sequence is established without an exact year. The shared-present date does not assign precise dates to every preceding chapter.

Branching Outcomes & Community Continuity

SWTOR playthroughs can produce incompatible allegiances, relationships, and outcomes. Shared StarForgeRP history follows its established choices, including the Alliance’s continued independence.

Community stories also establish their own events and consequences. Their inclusion in StarForgeRP does not make them official SWTOR history. Continuity & Canon explains the broader framework for these distinctions.

Beyond the Adopted Story

Masters of the Force and its Galaxy in Chaos storyline remain beyond this page’s adopted narrative boundary. Malgus’s transmission has occurred; the subsequent storyline’s developments have not automatically become shared StarForgeRP history.

• Start with a concrete connection: a household, workplace, community, affiliation, or existing relationship.

• Choose the present conditions that affect that connection and establish how they reach the character.

• Give consequential knowledge a credible source, especially when it concerns private operations or restricted evidence.

• Explore unresolved local consequences without deciding the future of an entire faction or another participant’s character.

• Allow choices to create lasting changes, obligations, disagreements, and opportunities for later interaction.
