Characters appear alphabetically within each group. These groupings are browsing aids rather than complete descriptions of someone’s loyalties, history, relationships, or private identity.
This directory and its dossiers are player-facing references. Published information—including concealed affiliations, identities, or circumstances—is not automatically known to other characters in-universe.

Find a Connection
Start with an intersection that could plausibly matter to both characters: a shared employer, familiar place, profession, skill, relationship, investigation, responsibility, debt, or unresolved obligation. Read the relevant dossiers to understand what is already established and where a new interaction could develop without deciding another character’s response.
Check RP Hooks for situations specifically intended to invite involvement and for any participation information provided there. A possible opening can create an encounter without predetermining another character’s choices or the outcome.

Use Create Character to build someone new or adapt an existing character to StarForgeRP’s shared setting. Begin with a recognizable present life, believable capabilities and limitations, and a reason another character could become involved.
