Lord Valen Vashara was a former House Vashara authority on Dromund Kaas whose death in 3646 BBY left an unfinished procurement-integrity investigation and an unresolved family history. Records preserved from his inquiry later became important to Mandate 7-Kael and related Grey Ledger evidence work, without establishing in advance what Valen discovered, why he died, or who may ultimately bear responsibility.
